About Me
Welcome, I am a qualified integrative counsellor. My approach is rooted in person-centred and existential theories. I believe we are all unique beings and may find ourselves feeling stuck and not understand why or perhaps we do and need support to help us through, while juggling life’s many challenges.
I offer a compassionate, non-judgemental, trauma informed space to navigate your thoughts and feelings at a pace that feels right for you.
I am a qualified and fully insured therapist, and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I have over 15 years experience working in the NHS supporting people through their cancer journey and beyond, understanding that the life changing impact of cancer does not end once you have finished treatment, often impacting many areas of life whether this be with your self-identity, body changes, work, family, relationships and intimacy.
What I Offer
Individual in-person sessions to explore what has brought you to counselling.
Our room is based on the 2nd Floor, 6 Northernhay Place in Exeter, ideally located to both Exeter Central Train Station and Exeter Bus Station. There are several car parks within walking distance.
Individual online sessions to explore what has brought you to counselling.
I offer online sessions on Zoom, which offers accessibility, counselling from a place where you feel comfortable, or flexibility when you are not able to attend in person.
Providing a space to explore grief individually or in small groups.
My work is based on the teachings of Francis Weller and the five "Gateways to Grief". Please get in touch if you would like to know more.
I offer a free 30 minute call for us to discuss what has brought you to counselling and for you to get a sense of if I am the right therapist for you.
Individual counselling sessions are 60 minutes at a rate of £60. All sessions are payable in advance via BACS.
I offer short-term and long-term counselling. We can discuss what works for you, with regular reviews to ensure you are getting what you need from our work together.
